Stunning Collection of Antiques – By Appointment Only

This vast collection of antiques originated from the family homestead, a farm in Connecticut, where treasured items were passed to family members through the generations until eventually the farm was sold. While the collection includes Early American/Primitive furniture pieces and furnishings from the 1700’s and 1800’s, the family’s love of antiques continued to grow the collection to include items from the early 1900’s as well. The family previously owned an antique store in Petaluma, California, an antique store in Gardnerville in the 1980’s, and thereafter helped stock and operate Antiques Plus, located in Genoa. The family also ran Cherry Hill Antiques in Lake Tahoe, which was sold in 2004.

You will find everything from buttons, glassware, baskets, rugs, and art, to tables, chairs, beds, clocks, and even two pianos!  The inventory also includes books, crocks, cast iron, tin, vintage jewelry, dolls, frames, silver plate, antique toys, tea sets, and so much more.  

A general public estate sale will be held on Friday & Saturday, August 28 & 29.  The address will be provided the day before, on August 27^th.

A few rules: 

• Masks or face coverings are required; hand sanitizer will be available
• Be prepared to carry and load your own purchases into an appropriate vehicle. We will be available on Saturday August 22^nd and Tuesday August 25^th for pick-up of large items
• Cash, Credit and Debit is available – no checks please
• Sales Tax will be collected, along with a 2% fee for credit/debit transactions
• Restrooms are not available
• Please no food or beverages
• There are uneven surfaces in the house and on the way to the garage. Please wear appropriate footwear and watch your step.
